At OPGS, we hold firm on our responsibility to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, an exceptional standard of teaching and learning and a wider range of extra-curricular opportunities. We have high standards of behaviour and our pupils are ‘polite and courteous,’ contributing significantly to our consistently positive learning environment.
It is a real honour to be the Headteacher of this magnificent school. I, and every staff member, have high aspirations for every young person that attends our school. These high expectations are demonstrated through a broad and challenging curriculum, exceptional standards in regards to behaviour and attitudes and a commitment to delivering a wide range of extra-curricular and enrichment experiences. We are well known for our outstanding level of pastoral support and care. Our young people are well supported with their personal development but also challenged academically so that they can achieve to the best of their ability. Our outcomes at GCSE and A Level are exceptional and allow OPGS students to acquire the qualifications and skills necessary to take the next steps in their own personal journey.
Please contact the school if you would like to visit us and see for yourself.

We are happy to share the great news that Connor (9C) has been retained by Gillingham's FC Academy for a further 2 years taking him up to U16s. Connor has had a brilliant season and has enjoyed opportunities to play with the older squads this season. Well done, Connor. If your child has an out of school success they wish to share, please do send details via office@opgs.org. It doesn't have to be a sporting success and we love to hear about them.

Well done to the Year 9 students who represent Aylesford Bull Rugby U14s and won the Challenge Cup in the Isle of Wight this weekend.
